Kaila and Hilla met while working at the Film-makers Cooperative archive, where they discovered a shared appreciation for experimental, campy, creepy, beautiful, and absurd works. Those films — diverse in style and technique — shaped their combined aesthetic sensibility.

Together they have collaborated on a wide range of video projects, including 2D and 3D stop-motion animations, music videos, narrative shorts, and 16mm film projects. They’ve also hosted animation technique workshops and curated screenings in New York City, showcasing the work of fellow artists and filmmakers from their creative community.
